Embraced by 15 acres of beautifully landscaped French gardens, this legendary meeting place combines old-world grandeur with peace and tranquillity in one of the world‘s most spiritual destinations. An elegant cage elevator adorns the lobby, gracefully carrying guests upwards as if it was 1932 all over again. Overhead, ceiling fans gently beat a rhythm and move the still air. From a cool uncluttered lobby, Art Deco black-and-white tiled halls lead you to rooms of perfect luxury. Welcome to Raffles Grand Hotel d‘Angkor, once the home of royalty, now the King of Hotels.
Located in the heart of Siem Reap, in the Old French Quarter only 8 kilometers from the extraordinary Angkor Wat temple complex, Raffles Grand Hotel d‘Angkor is the ideal place to explore the spiritual and archaeological masterwork. Relax and revitalise beside a magnificent pool inspired by Angkorian architecture or take a short stroll along the riverside to discover the vibrant local markets.

Bijou boutiques abound - for unique handicrafts, fashion and souvenirs; while the award-winning Raffles Spa is almost compulsory for personalized pampering in the Cambodian style. While you are here, you are welcome to lose track of time, though the doormen’s uniforms can always remind you. Inspired by uniforms from the Royal Palace, there are different coloured trousers for each day of the week. If it‘s orange, it must be Monday. For romance and relaxation, history and hospitality, serenity and bliss, Raffles Grand Hotel d‘Angkor is a sensuous, spiritual oasis loved by those with a taste for the very best. Raffles Grand Hotel d‘Angkor epitomises Cambodian charm and elegance. Landmark Rooms, located in the Main Building, are furnished with a luxurious blend of Cambodian and Art Deco themes. Decorated with memorabilia and artefacts reminiscent of the Golden Age of Travel, the Angkorian ambience is completed with high ceilings, wooden floors, marble bathrooms and crafted four-poster beds. Cabana Suites are located on the ground floor of the extended wing. Perfect for both business and pleasure, each Cabana Suite has twin bathrooms, a living area which can be separated by curtains and direct pool access. The private terraces have day beds and loungers for relaxation, and make an ideal spot for breakfast or a romantic dinner.
True to the hotel’s original character, the 48sqm Colonial Suites are decorated with wood panelling and custom-made Cambodian silks evoking timeless French Colonial and Khmer charm. Located in the centre of the main building, each is fitted with a claw–foot bathtub, and a relaxing day bed on the balcony which overlooks our magnificent pool, modelled after the Angkorian Royal bathing pond. Our suites are named after:
Henri Mouhot, the 19th Century French naturalist who revealed the existence of Angkor to the world. John Thomson, an admirer and collector of Khmer Art which now forms a collection at the Guimet Museum in Paris.
Louis Delaporte, the 19th Century Scottish photographer of Angkor Wat.
Henri Marchal, the man responsible for the first successful reconstruction of Banteay Srei.An exclusive collection of original memorabilia distinguishes each of these luxurious suites, making each truly unique experience.
